a week agoThe entire staff, from check in, to seeing Dr. Welch himself, was nothing but pleasant and a great first experience with a new dentists office for myself. Would recommend to anyone if looking to find yourself a new dentist office. Great family style practice!

a month agoI am very dissatisfied how my situation has been handled at this office. Being Dr. Welch patient since 2005 one and off, moving to another area and returning to his practice with my entire family, I expected better. Sending self cash pay patients to him is also over from now on. No more referrals from me! Apparently there is a miscommunication between this office and insurance, otherwise I don't understand how it is possible. Went to cleaning with exam and was referred by Dr. Welch to see Sr. Cwikla practice for possible root canal needs. Later in a year came for second cleaning and exam confirming at the front office if this visit will be fully covered. Also confirmed with dental hygienist before we started the day of appointment (she went to the front office to confirm herself too and said yes, cleaning and exam will be covered). Moving forward to now when I am receiving a bill for exam because I exceeded the number of exams per year and responsible for it now. Dr. Welch's staff confirmed twice (two different days and two different staff members) my second cleaning and exam is covered by my insurance. It took Dr. Welch 5 seconds to look at my teeth. He didn't even asked about tooth with possible root canal, the one he referred me to the specialist for... Office has records of me being seen by specialist (they referred me there) who also changed for exam. Not a single time anyone mentioned I might be responsible for anything for second cleaning and exam visit. I asked to confirm and assumed office checked with my insurance. They didn't. They simply don't care based on my communication with the office over the phone on 3 occasions related to this issue. I really miss how this practice was run in 2000s, more personal without feeling rushed what so ever. Sadly, it's time to find a better practice where you are not just a number.
