Dr. Milano is amazing. I was very nervous going back to the dentist after years of not going and Dr. Milano and hygienist Mary made me feel at ease and not ashamed for the status of my teeth. Definitely recommend University Ave. Dental.

From the moment you walk in the door, everyone is so welcoming. Caitlin is a great hygienist and Dr. Blakeslee is a great dentist. If you're a person who is uncomfortable going to a dentist, University Ave Dental is the office you should go to. Love their newsletter they send out.

After a long history of bad dentists, I finally found University Avenue dental. I'm in my sixties and I have the pleasure of wearing the best fitting crown in my life. I had an appointment just today and I was warmly greeted by Stephanie, at the front desk. The lovely lady who cleaned my teeth was a temporary fill-in for them today, but I would hope that they give her a permanent job. She had an excellent chair side manner and was very gentle. I would recommend this place to anyone. After all when I found them, someone had referred me to this office after hearing about my previous Dental experiences.

I miss the old Blakeslee dental. The new ownership is nowhere close to being as welcoming. During my routine exam a cavity was found. The new dentist just stuck the swab of numbing gel in my mouth with out asking or saying anything. I told him I do not want Novacain, and that I want gas instead, because of problems Novacain has caused in the past. My request for the gas was ignored, like it was never said. New dentist removed the swab of numbing gel and filled my cavity without analgesia. Then as I was walking out, the receptionist demanded payment for the filling. I was not prepared to pay at that moment, because I did not know I had a cavity and did not bring money to pay for one with me. I also had a technician that barely spoke English. I asked her twice to repeat what she said then gave up trying to figure it out. I think being able to communicate with your health care providers is important. I am all for people from other countries working good jobs in the USA, But I think if 99% of your patients speak English that the staff should too. I loved Blakeslee Dental. I recommended them to my family and friends. Now I am considering looking for a new dentist. DR. Blakeslee thank you for many years of wonderful dental care. I wish you a long and happy retirement. You deserve it.
