Sergio Ortegon (Ortegon Prosthodontics)

I had major extensive work done here by Dr. Ortegon. It was very complex. He is the best dentist I've ever been to. I've had many other previous dentists that I would not recommend. But I would trust Dr. Ortegon with my mother's dental health. Dr. Ortegon is not only highly skilled, but has the additional required qualities people hope for in the person that will be doing work that will affect your life for years. Firstly, he is attentive and doesn't cut corners. He goes through the entire process like a scientist. You will notice how he takes his time with every step until it's perfect. Secondly, you will notice that he has excellent manual dexterity. It sounds like a weird thing to say maybe. But you can tell he has better control of his hands than other dentists. I hardly felt the needle punctures, and his use of the tools seemed mistake free and perfect. I noticed these details because I have unfortunately experienced the opposite with other dentists in the past. Dr. Ortegon's staff are all great too.

I thought that a crown had fallen out when a loose tooth appeared in my mouth! I made an appointment with Dr.Ortegon (my regular dentist). To my surprise, it was not a crown, but the tooth had broken and required a post and temporary crown, and will eventually require an implant. This tooth was near the front of my mouth and highly visible, so I was delighted to have a replacement. I usually hate dentists and I have really bad teeth so finding Dr Ortegon was a God send. He is a gentle doctor, highly efficient, and makes the most beautiful crowns. He made two for my front teeth (after a dental hygienist at another office scaled my gums during a routine cleaning and permanently destroyed my gums). BTW, this other dentist (a very upscale doctor whose office looks more like a plastic surgeon than a dentist) denied that I was there at all bc I couldn’t remember the name of the receptionist! I received so many compliments on my teeth, all credit to Dr Ortegon.

When my wife Paty first went to see Dr.Ortegon, she was a bit nervous and uneasy. She had problems with her teeth and trying to find the right clinic that would not only do the correct dental procedures but understand her needs and listen to what her concerns are. Well needless to say Paty and I did the right choice in selecting the Team at Sergio M Ortegon DDS. The doctor and his team have made her feel as a V.I.P. “Very Important Patient”, and they are now in the stages of resolving her dental procedure. All I can say is “Thank you all…. for caring so much in such a short period of time!

Dr. Ortegon is certainly the MASTER of the art of dentistry! 👍 He is the best dentist I have ever seen. My family have been under Dr. Ortegon’s care since 2016 and we all are very happy with his work and his hygienist Ms. Helen’s teeth cleaning work! 👍🫶 I experience flawless and painless dental visits at Dr. Ortegon’s office every single time!🤗 The best part is that his team’s professionalism and compassion got rid of my fear of dental visits, I couldn’t ask for more. 🙏 What I like about Dr. Ortegon’s care is his humble yet confident and knowledgeable medical approach to challenging dental problems. No matter how big or small my dental issues are, he patiently listens to my needs and concerns and carefully performs the treatments without causing any pain or bleeding. On top of that, Dr. Ortegon gives step-by-step explanations on how he treats the conditions like a professor does. This certainly reduces my anxiety level by knowing what happens during the entire visit, and helps me learn about my dental conditions. 😄

Dr. Ortegon and his staff are friendly, professional and efficient. Dr. Ortegon takes time and uses the latest technologies to provide dental services. He explains his findings with you in an easy to understand manner, and also provides a video explanation where required. The office is clean and instruments and work areas are sanitary. The assistants are skilled. Dr. Ortegon puts you at ease and ensures you do not hurt during any procedure. he does not do unnecessary procedures. Dr. Ortegon is smart and knows his stuff; a top-notch dentist.
