a month agoFrom the moment I walked in I was greeted with welcoming smiles. They toured me around the building and thoroughly explained recommended treatment and answered every question I had and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend to my friends/ family or anyone looking for Orthodontic treatment. You won’t be disappointed.

7 months agoOverall I'm satisfied but was frustrated because the treatment plan took an additional 9 or so months to fix 1 tooth which was the main reason I got braces a second time. The rest of my teeth were pretty straight but because the 1 tooth was overlapping another tooth and was very obvious I decided to just go for it. It took months and many aligners to move it to where it was satisfactory but not perfect. Dr. Leah worked diligently with me to get it to where I was happy but honestly it took way too long and I still feel its not lined up so that its symmetrical with the other side.

a month agoI’ve visited all the locations but the worst experience I had was at Novi. The office manager by the name of Val was very pushy and loud! Mostly to the other employees. As I sat and waited for my child to finish, She walked through the front entrance talking at her co-workers instead talking to them. Much like a warden. They were looking very scared. One almost to tears. You’d think a 70 something year old lady would be sweet but she’s mean. I won’t be bringing my child back to that office.

4 months agoI was bringing my daughters here for a consult. Just first impression felt like a "used car dealership" hustle to get clients to sign up (if you sign up today, we will give you a discount, and put a deposit to lock your deal). They felt very pushy. Also, their cost compared to where we ended up going to was really expensive. Probably because they try to entice the kids with cookies, fancy waterbottles, and things. My big complaint was the woman who was working with us. I was there with my ex-wife and the woman only talked to her. I was making eye contact to be in the conversation. At one point, the woman told me that I have an underbite (which I don't. I had braces as a kid and was never treated for it. My dentist even confirmed asking just for curiosity, and said I dont.) The woman was saying my daughter has an underbite because of me. Again, throughout the explanation of therapy for my daughters, I am still left out of the conversation. It was finally when it came time to go over insurance for the girls, she asked ma'am is this going on your insurance? Nope. My wife and I have dual insurance and it was going under ours. At that point everything changed to my attention and talking all nice to me by then. I felt very put off. At this point I wrote this place off for sure. Customer service is horrible. Also, you don't see just one orthodontist. You would see others that work under the main orthodontist. It didn't feel like a personal experience. I just felt like another number in their system. I don't recommend this practice. There are many other fine orthodontist practices out there.

3 months agoI have held off on commenting for a few years now. I am a general dentist in the area. I took my son to them for phase 1 and 2 ortho at age nine and eleven. Both times, the lady that closed the financial documents with me was too pushy in the style of a cheap car sales person. She said there was a professional courtesy discount only if I paid my portion in full at the consultation appointment. Both times, not only was I not given a discount, but, was overcharged according to the EOB that I received later. I had to call them both times to request them to refund my overpayment. They completed phase two and placed a lingual retention wire per my request. Recently, my son asked if I could remove the wire on his lower front teeth. When I proceeded to do so, I discovered to my great disappointment that a very aggressive channel had been drilled across the enamel of six teeth, from canine to canine in order to place the wire into the enamel rather than bond the wire over the enamel. I have been in the field since 1994 and have come across plenty of lingual retention wires. Patients sometimes request to have them removed. They are almost always bonded over enamel, rarely, there is a superficial groove placed in the enamel to hold the wire. Never have I seen such utter disregard for perfectly healthy, beautiful enamel till I saw the deep ditches placed in six perfectly healthy teeth. I was in tears as I removed the wire, had to remove a lot more enamel in order to smooth the ditched out areas, spent a significant time polishing all around. These areas are now more prone to developing decay than the rest of his teeth. Would not recommend this practice.
