Ralph J. Isola, DDS

I have been coming to Dr. Isola for many years and have always been treated professionally by a very friendly staff. I love that they know me and I don’t have to remind them. The doctor is excellent and only recommends treatment if necessary. He never “upsells” but treats exactly what needs to be treated. He is easy going and calm which is important to skiddish patients, like me and my kids.

I moved back to sacramento area after being gone 20 years. My Davis dentist was dead, so I looked into someone local to my house who wasn’t dead. Dr. Isola was very good. Special shoutouts to the awesome hygienist and the Dave Grohl-loving front desk. You’re right. He’s hot.

Ralph is a nice guy who loves to take care of the people in the neighborhood of East Sacramento. Treats his customers fairly. Very personable even will take time in the evening to take care of small children.

I've been a long time patient of Dr. Isola. I like the staff and although I've seen many hygienists over the years, they all have been great and done a good job. The hygienist I saw last, Luke, did a great job. Was quick and thorough. Dr. Isola is excellent at his profession and I have confidence in his opinion and work. My only complaint, and the reason for less than excellent rating, is I had to wait 30 minutes after scheduled time. I don't mind 10 or even 15 minutes, but a half hour wait is too long.

They charge $38 for co payment even thought the insurance is covering 100% with other dentist last year I never pay a single cent for my first visit because is covered by the insurance and also every annual they don’t suppose to charge for a single penny but this place is ripping people off. Better find another place where they really care about the service and not taking advantage of them charging extra. My insurance told me that the claim doesn’t even show the charge and they don’t suppose to charge for it because that cover the 100% of what the doctor billed for. Sounds fishy but it’s true. The doctor’s manager is “not available”. I want my money back or charge the insurance for your service that’s why I paid insurance for. Don’t pay for the sign said $38 if you have insurance because the insurance covers all. He is making this extra money for 10-20 patients a day is $380-$800 for a charge that it’s not justify plus what he gets paid for the bill that he sends to the insurance. Not a honest dentist!!!
