Whether you are seeking an orthodontic consultation for your child or yourself, Pittsburgh Orthodontic Group is here to help. We offer treatments for all ages, including Invisalign for adults and teens. One of the reasons we became orthodontists was to create a patient friendly office atmosphere committed to creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
Pittsburgh Orthodontic Group treats patients throughout the Pittsburgh area, with offices in Moon Township, Mt. Lebanon, Pleasant Hills, Scottdale, and Shadyside. No matter which office you visit, you’ll find a comfortable environment, with treatments offered at affordable prices.
While the name might sound like a large organization, Pittsburgh Orthodontic Group is led by a team of two orthodontists – Dr. Rick Gobbie and Dr. George Deme. All patients are treated by one (or sometimes both) of us.
Unlike some large orthodontic practices, we insist on a doctor-centered, hands-on approach to treatment. We treat each patient and perform all work personally. From the first visit, we will work with you to develop a customized treatment plan and will be with you every step of the way.

4 years agoDr. Deme and Dr. Gobbie did an amazing job. I couldn't be happier with the results. I can't stop smiling now. They are great at what they do and have awesome personalities. I would highly recommend them for someone looking into getting braces.

2 years agoThank you to the staff at the Pleasant Hills office. They did an amazing job & we had a great experience. My granddaughter loves her new smile & is so happy! This office was very accommodating to all our needs from start to finish. I will bring my other children there when they are ready for their new smiles!

8 months agoI am a patient of Dr. Gobbie and Dr. Deme. I actually had braces twice before as a teenager, so have lots of experience with braces and Orthodontists. As an adult my teeth shifted, and I wanted to have them straightened. I actually saw a few orthodontists before going to Pittsburgh Orthodontic Group. I was not impressed with the other ones as they did not explain the whole procedure and cost (and I actually had one that did not even look in my mouth!) When I had my initial evaluation with Dr. Gobbie, I was quite impressed as he thoroughly explained what was needed to get the results I wanted. I then saw Dr. Deme when the Invisalign trays were initially started. At every appointment, the next step is thoroughly explained. I just recently saw Dr. Deme who was happy to report my excellent results and I will soon be moving to a retainer to be able to keep my beautiful STRAIGHT teeth. I have had fantastic results in a short period of time, and I would not recommend seeing any other orthodontists than Dr. Gobbie and Dr. Deme.
