Whether you are seeking an orthodontic consultation for your child or yourself, Pittsburgh Orthodontic Group is here to help. We offer treatments for all ages, including Invisalign for adults and teens. One of the reasons we became orthodontists was to create a patient friendly office atmosphere committed to creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
Pittsburgh Orthodontic Group treats patients throughout the Pittsburgh area, with offices in Moon Township, Mt. Lebanon, Pleasant Hills, Scottdale, and Shadyside. No matter which office you visit, you’ll find a comfortable environment, with treatments offered at affordable prices.
While the name might sound like a large organization, Pittsburgh Orthodontic Group is led by a team of two orthodontists – Dr. Rick Gobbie and Dr. George Deme. All patients are treated by one (or sometimes both) of us.
Unlike some large orthodontic practices, we insist on a doctor-centered, hands-on approach to treatment. We treat each patient and perform all work personally. From the first visit, we will work with you to develop a customized treatment plan and will be with you every step of the way.

They immediately picked up on how nervous my son was about his appointment and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and patient with him. It is very obvious that they really care about their patients. We are just getting started but I am so glad that we chose them for his orthodontic care; his smile is in good hands! 😊

Especially Dr. Deme, he always remembers previous conversations with me to ask how my job is and how my life has been since my previous appointment. I love this orthodontist office. a month agoPittsburgh Ortho Group in Moon is terrific! We had an initial consultation for my son, and the office staff was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, sensitive, and informative… we immediately felt at ease. She listened to our concerns and conveyed them to Dr. Gobbie. He took the time to evaluate, present treatment options (using visuals to show future progression), and made sure we fully understood. He is so generous, and also takes time with each child patient to make them laugh and helps build their confidence during their time in the chair. Also, they are always willing to make accommodations when we need an emergency appointment. The overall experience has been so positive. I am so blessed to have found them, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a phenomenal dental practice.

4 months agoDr Deme is an amazing orthodontist and is very friendly, inviting,and funny. He is definitely my favorite part of going to the office. The rest of the staff is also incredibly helpful and friendly. Also there is never a long wait to be seen, which is helpful for a busy schedule. Definitely recommend going here.
