Pediatric Dentistry of West Sacramento

I have been taking my children to see Doctor Johnson since he opened in West Sacramento. He is very patient and kind with the kids, and also takes his time explaining any treatment needed to the parents and explaining why. My kids enjoy coming to see him and the place is not overwhelming like some of the larger Pediatric Dentistry practices. It is clean, it is local, and it is very nice.

Dr. Paul and Danny, the dental assistant, were great with my little guy (22 months old). They have a way with keeping things fun and calm while also providing great tips for parents on maintaining good oral hygiene. Going into my son's first ever dentist visit, I was a little nervous about how he'd react, but I think my kid actually had fun! He got to watch a bit of Ratatouille (playing on the screens mounted to the ceiling) and even got to pick out a little toy, a little green bouncy ball which he's now obsessed with. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Doctor Paul is fantastic. He's the sole proprietor of his dentistry practice and you can tell he cares about his patients, their parents, and the perception of his work and the work of his staff. Each of my experiences have been pleasant, professional, and have left me completely satisfied with bringing in my oldest. My family has referred a few friends and our nephew when he has teeth. Support a fantastic local business supporting the children of West Sacramento.

We have been visiting Dr. Johnson for one year already and our experience has been great. No waiting time and the whole personnel is very courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Johnson is wonderful with my kids. He has a great personality with working with children and making them comfortable at the dentist's office. The office is equipped with TV monitors on the ceilings and my kids watch animations while Dr. Johnson is working on their filings. We haven't had any surprises with payments by now. We visited the office two times for cleaning and for each of my two sons 2-3 times for small fillings. Definitely recommending pediatric dentistry with Dr. Johnson.

So I posted a two star review a while back when I had found out it would be 3 or 4 months until we were able to be seen for a consultation... all while my kids teeth are getting worse. Almost right away I was called and told that there are cancelations and she's at the top of the list. It was a great conversation.... that was two months ago. I feel like I was only given the call to change my review 11 months later the surgery still hasn’t been scheduled and I haven’t received a call with an update in almost 8 months.
