At Orthodontic Specialists of Madison our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of orthodontic care in a friendly, comfortable environment.
Dr. Steven Peterson began practicing orthodontics in Madison in 1992 at Madison Orthodontic Associates. Dr. Peterson holds specialty training in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, but decided to focus entirely on orthodontics. Dr. Peterson treated patients at Odana Road, Northport Drive, and in Windsor. In 2001, Dr. Peterson opened an office in Verona.
Dr. William (Chip) Bird joined Dr. Peterson in practice in 2002, upon graduation from his training in Milwaukee at Marquette University. He treated patients at the Northport, Verona, and Windsor locations. In 2005, Drs. Peterson and Bird formed Orthodontic Specialists of Madison (OSM).
In 2015, Dr. Kevin Knutson joined OSM after practicing in northern WI. With four locations around Dane County, our sincere hope is that there is an office near you. We understand that orthodontic care involves multiple visits and we hope to have created an environment where patients can be seen at a location which is convenient to them
