Nichols Family Dental, Bellingham

Truly excellent care! We all hate going to the dentist, and my experiences with Nichols Family Dental have been nothing but excellent. If you're nervous about going to the dentist you'll receive compassionate and sensitive care here. I've had a number of crowns in the past and Will, by far, provided the best fit and work I've ever had in a crown. None of my past crowns from other dentists fit perfectly so there were always food traps and other issues. The crowns I got done here recently (replacing old crowns) were perfect. I don't notice them at all, and the food traps are gone. Also, Will's technique of applying anesthesia is about as painless as it gets. Everyone there is very friendly as well. We're very lucky in Bellingham to have Nichols Family Dental in town!

Short version: BEST DENTAL OFFICE EVER. Every person there is so welcoming, warm and amazing. I think Dr. Will and Brittany could make folks that are horrified of dental work feel right at home. They treat each other (and you) like family. Longer: I had a crown done and the technology they use is seriously cool. No goopy mold, just a sweet little camera-scanner thing and I got a BEAUTIFUL crown. It looks and feels like an actual tooth. It's pretty mind blowing how easy and painless it was. During the crown seating Dr. Will made me laugh to the point of tearing up. I also had a cleaning there which was so thorough and again, painless. It was the best my teeth have felt ever. I can't say enough good things about this place--the people, the music, the overall ambiance. They foster an environment to make you feel cared for (because they actually care) and trust you're in good hands with modern tech and up to date knowledge/skills. I left happier than when I walked in. How many folks can say that about their dentist?!

Cannot say enough good things about this office! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt right at home. Kristina at the front desk is very welcoming, Colleen the dental assistant was such a calming presence and made me feel relaxed. Then there’s Dr Will and he is so calming, funny, and actually explains everything he’s doing and what it means so that I understand what is happening. Best dental experience I have ever had! And that says a lot since I have extreme dental anxiety. If you’ve ever had a bad experience at a dental office before, have dental anxiety, or just hate going to the dentist, call this office and make an appointment. You will not regret it!

The most positive dentistry experience I’ve ever had! (And I’ve had a lot…) They we’re able to get me in quickly to look at the painful and persistent misalignment of my teeth. Not only did Dr. Will fix it in half an hour (!!), but it was painless. And - dare I say it?- the pleasant environment and kind people even made it fun. Wow!

This was the best dental experience I've ever had! Will (who goes by his first name) is so friendly and warm, just like all of the other staff. The place has a cozy family feel that is equally professional as it is inviting. As I was getting a filling I was completely entertained and delighted by the dentist's conversation. They do "Happy Visits" for kids to get used to going to the dentist and make it a fun experience. Their team does service trips to Tanzania to provide dental care for people in remote areas. Such a thoughtful, passionate and skilled team. I recommend them to everyone, and I won't be going anywhere else!
