Dr. Hom, his assistants Lauren and Erika (I hope I spelt that right) were absolutely the best! I have the worst dental anxiety and typically cry the second they ask me to open my mouth. This team was so friendly, comforting, and transparent. They let me know everything that was going on and everything I’d experience during my root canal. Dr Hom is MAGIC, I felt absolutely nothing. Typically I struggle when they give the local anesthetic but I didn’t even know if he had given it yet, he was so gentle. Then I almost fell asleep during my root canal procedure. A huge thank you to this incredible team, for making what I thought would be the worst day of my life, an actual breeze

My girlfriend recently had a root canal with Dr. Hom and she had an amazing experience. She was nervous about the procedure but Dr. Hom put her at ease with his friendly and professional demeanor. He explained every step of the process and made sure she was comfortable throughout. Let me start by saying how much I've been hurt by dentists before. I tell dentists I have a high tolerance to novacaine, and they laugh and say everything will be fine. Then the drill hits and I'm seeing flashes with unbearable nerve pain. Not today. I explained my anxiety of past pain. I explained my high tolerance to novacaine, and they listened to me. They freakin listened. I can't say a root canal is a pleasurable experience, but I walked in a sweaty anxiety mess, they talked to me like a person, and I felt nothing after the Novocaine. I really can't thank them enough. I hope I never have another root canal, but with my terrible teeth I'm sure I will, these amazing professionals will be my first call. Dr. Hom and his assistant did an amazing job! I am most impressed by Dr. Hom’ chair side manner. He payed close attention to my needs and showed sincere concern that I remain comfortable through the procedure. Also, the way a doctor talks to their staff is a good indication on how they are as a person and professional. Dr. Hom spoke so respectfully to his assistant and showed patience when explaining. And whenever something unexpected happened, Dr. Hom was quick to explain and work through it. I highly recommend Dr. Hom for any of your endo needs :)
