3 years agoDr. Hess and his entire staff are the most warm welcome I’ve experienced in a dentist. You walk in and immediately feel like family. Everyone is personable, and they remember you time and time again. Dr. Hess has done great work on mine and my family’s teeth, and also made great recommendations for things like orthodontics and periodontal surgery that he’d rather leave to the experts than do himself - I appreciate that kind of honesty. I would and have recommended him to many friends and family!

3 years agoSince changing dental offices to Dr. Hess I have been extremely pleased. My entire family from my husband, my two boys and myself are now patients. With our crazy busy schedule we don't have hours to wait and Dr. Hess has been punctual every visit. The entire staff is phenomenal from scheduling my first appointment over the phone to the knowledgeable, yet personable hygienist to Dr Hess and his exam and taking the time to answer every question. Highly recommend this office!! Can't brag on them enough.

7 months agoDon't get me wrong, we love the dental care we get from Dr. Hess (not related) and his techs. Especially love the detailed care I get from Katie who cleans every spot and gives me pointers for my own dental care. We've been patients for years, ever since Dr. Hess bought the practice from Dr. Hodson. HOWEVER, the recent move to charge a 3% processing fee for paying with a debit card has my blood boiling. Using the debit card my insurance provides is the only way I have to make the payment. Adding a processing fee seems like such a nickel and dime move when receiving payment with a card actually takes much less "processing" than receiving a check. Just sayin' (and said so as I left the office today). Still love the care, though. UPDATE: Dr. Hess himself called to explain his logic for the convenience fee charge, and while we may not agree on who credit cards are more convenient for, I certainly appreciate him following up on my "complaint". I'm going to bump my star rating up a star for great "customer" service. :-)

4 years agoMy family is very happy with the office of Dr Hess. He has been great with my kids as we've transitioned them from a pediatric dentist. It is easy to get an appointment within a reasonable time, which is a big plus for us based upon previous experiences elsewhere. His hygienist staff is great - they are all so friendly and seem to work hard to treat you carefully. We are always in and out of there quickly. Dr Hess is conservative in our experience and doesn't recommend things or pressure you to do procedures.

11 months agoMy wife went here to get some crowns done. They agreed to contact insurance to get a quote. A week later they sent my wife a letter firing her as a patient after 1 interaction. I assume it's due to an interaction she had with the receptionist. The lady at the front desk didn't understand that insurance fraud is an issue and wanted my wife to send her insurance card to their **unsecured hotmail email account. My wife said she was uncomfortable doing so due to privacy issues and that she could provide digital insurance info until we got our new dental cards in the mail for the office to scan. The lady at the front desk scoffed and laughed at her. It was really jarring that they didn't understand the safety issue and made my wife feel like it was HER problem. This letter must be a result of asking for privacy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE. If safety and privacy are met with scoffs and derision, they don't have your best interests at heart. Don't trust your teeth with them. You're more important than that!
