Dr. Marinela Nemetz is originally from Texas and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 1996. Following dental school, she completed a two year residency at the University of Texas in Houston and Herman Hospital, where she received her certificate in pediatric dentistry. In addition to her training, she is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Nemetz is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and a member of the Jacksonville Dental Society. As a strong advocate for early dental care, she has developed an educational program for local preschools and elementary schools. She and her staff regularly visit schools with their mascot “Freddy Flossisaurous” teaching children how to take care of their teeth and that visiting the dentist can be fun!

a week agoMy son loved his first visit. He made a point to tell me twice how much he likes his new dentist. Kids typically don't love the dentist, but somehow Dr Nemetz pulls it off.

a month agoDr. Marinela and her staff are absolutely amazing! They've been taking care of my daughter's teeth ever since she was 3 yrs old, she's 14 now and thanks to them she's not afraid of dentist visits. The staff is very welcoming and warm and Dr. Marinela always treats my daughter with such kindness and consideration. Great practice, highly recommended!

a week agoDr. Marinela has been my children’s dentist since we relocated to Jacksonville 9 years ago. They have been going to the dentist since they were toddlers, and I have to say that Dr. Nemetz is by far the best pediatric dentist they’ve had. Her staff is also phenomenal, from the front desk admin team to the hygienist team in the back, you’re guaranteed to have a pleasant experience!
