a week agoWe LOVE Dentists on Washington! I have been coming here for almost 8 years now. My husband and 1 year old daughter now go here too (and she loved her experience too - no crying!!). Both Dr. Ngo & Dr. Costello are so sincere, professional, honest, and kind. Their support & reception staff is amazing too. I have no idea what the last reviewer was talking about; that has NEVER been my family's experience here. Both Drs work seamlessly together, sometimes Dr. Ngo will start, and Dr. Costello will finish up - but they are always so communicative to what's going on, etc. They always make time to answer any questions, both in person & through email. Seriously, anyone who is looking for a new dentist, go here! I can't recommend them enough.

3 months agoThis would have been my ideal and regular dentist but both time I went, I've had negative experience. Dr. Costello is very condescending and immature if he is asked questions. He left me in the chair abruptly because I was asking too many questions and didn't even tell me he was done. I waited there for 10 min+ and he was just ignoring the situation. Such childish behavior. There are other folks i know in the area says they make you do procedures when it's not absolutely necessary. I've decided to take my business elsewhere. If you can't respect your patients and treat them with value, then you should not be in this field. Dentist here has too much ego. I'll comeback here when he no longer works here.. but I guess they own the practice?

in the last weekI went to Dentists on Washington last month because of slight tooth pain. The staff was very friendly but I was shocked when the dentist said I had 13 cavities and needed a root canal. Because I didn't have dental insurance yet, I waited on following up with their treatment plan which would cost over $6,000 because I wanted to get insurance and a second opinion. I went to another dentist this week who gave me a full exam. According to this dentist, I have zero cavities and just needed a cleaning. I'm not sure why Dentists on Washington would say I have 13 cavities. According to other yelp reviews, this is something they've done to others too, only for other dentists to say patients don't need treatment. Edit: after the owners’ response, I took out my accusation that this office did this on purpose. People can decide for themselves what to think. However, at my new dentist we went over my x-rays same as here with very different results. It’s possible that they treat incipient lesions aggressively as cavities as another reviewer mentioned. I didn’t go somewhere that would tell me what I wanted to hear, I went somewhere worried I was going to have to spend thousands of dollars either way! I suggest others do the same and get a second opinion.
