In preparation for that, our first visit is a very thorough interview and exam. You are an equal participant in this approach. You will give us a good idea of what you are looking for regarding your teeth, smile, and longevity of function. We will then conduct a thorough exam and inform you of your diagnosis. A plan is then presented which will of course include general dental care such as the type of cleaning you would need, but in addition to that, you will get an itemized list of the short-term and long-term concerns to address. If there are multiple areas you would like us to consider, a phased plan will be presented along with preventive strategies to lower your risk for future new problems.
