FAQ's
How often should I be going to the dentist’s office?
It depends on your oral health. In most cases, children and adults should plan to come in once or twice each calendar year for a professional checkup and cleaning. These visits will help our dentists track down any potentially serious dental problems in their earliest stages and also clear away decay-causing plaque and tartar. If a patient needs additional support, though – maybe they’re struggling with gum disease or are especially sensitive to tooth decay – we may recommend scheduling an appointment every 3-4 months instead.
Will I need to see a different specialist for my dental implant placement?
Not at all! Dr. Bartusiak can be considered a seasoned expert when it comes to dental implants – he even regularly teaches other dentists about them. He’ll be happy to perform every stage of your procedure, from the initial surgical placement to the creation of attractive, custom-made restorations, here in Washington, PA, which means you’ll cut down on travel time and also get to stay with a team you already know and trust.
Going to the dentist’s office makes me nervous. Can you help?
Yes. We offer sedation dentistry right here in-office for added comfort and relaxation, including advanced IV sedation. These safe techniques will help take the edge off of negative emotions and create a pleasant atmosphere for your care that can overcome even the worst cases of dental-related anxiety.
Do you take dental insurance?
Bartusiak Dental Care of Washington is in-network with several major PPO dental insurance plans, and we’ll be happy to work with patients to maximize their available benefits. To learn more, visit our new patients page.
I don’t have dental insurance. What are my options for paying?
